There is a small charge of 100 baht per person to walk to the view point as you are walking through private land. The best way to get to it is to get on to the main road in Chalok and walk up to Freedom Beach Resort. You will see a sign for the View Point Trail. The trail is fairly easy going until the end where it does get a little steep and you will need to climb over rocks to get to the point so be sure to walk in trainers but the view is worth the hard sweat.
